Only medical practitioners registered with Offshore Energies UK (formerly Oil and Gas UK) can perform OGUK medicals. DocMed has approved practitioners to conduct OGUK medicals for offshore environments. In addition, these medical practitioners can provide OGUK accredited medical certificates.

At DocMed, we have OEUK-approved practitioners who are certified to conduct OGUK medicals and issue OGUK-accredited medical certificates for offshore deployment..

MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

An OGUK medical includes:

  Medical history, including vaccine review

  Physical examination

  Audiometry (hearing test)

  Spirometry (lung function test)

Depending on individual circumstance you may also require:

  Vaccinations

For individuals in good health, the entire examination typically takes approximately 60 minutes, conducted by a certified doctor and approved medical facilities.

Upon successful completion, an OGUK-accredited medical certificate is issued. This certificate is generally valid for 1 years, provided the individual is deemed medically fit.
However, in cases where medical conditions require closer monitoring, a certificate of shorter validity may be granted to ensure timely follow-up.

OGUK Medicals are conducted internationally at DocMed, adhering to global standards and ensuring workforce compliance across borders.
